It's been a while...

So yes, it's been a while.
For a long time, I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with my blog upon returning from my mission.
I'm still not totally sure but I figured I'm mostly going to be documenting/trying to post any tips that I get asked a lot, I am open to any ideas :)
This is what I've been up to since coming home
So I got home from the mission and was home for about a month. Most of it was traveling all up and down the east coast visiting family.
Eventually it was time to head out to the west for school. I honestly didn't realize how much I missed Idaho until I came back. I remember the drive up here was so gorgeous and I couldn't wait to get back into the school grind.
When the announcement came out and I prayed about serving, I received the answer to go as soon as the semester was done.
That FREAKED ME OUT, I felt like at the time that I had everything set up for a good while but I knew that there was more in store for me.
So I remember while leaving, I prayed and basically said "look, I'll listen and go when you're telling me to, just promise me that when I come back you'll let everything fall into place".
I came home to having no clue what I was going to do with my life, no job, no nothing.
A couple of weeks before school, I was looking at the Job board on the BYU-I website, hoping that I could get a job on campus. My dream was to get a job that had to do with photography.
So I kept on looking and looking till I left for Utah (about a week before school started) and I couldn't find anything.
Answer to prayer #1) I was sitting talking with Aimee in the kitchen, my MTC companion/roommate, the Sunday before school started when I felt that I needed to check the job board.
I opened my laptop to look and the 2 job posting was for an assistant photographer for the university relations department. I saw that the "starting date" was for the following day, I assumed that the position was already taken but I felt that I should send in my resume and portfolio just in case.
The next day, I had an interview and got the job on the spot. It was such a blessing and spiritual experience and I feel like I have the best job on campus right now.
Answer to prayer #2) I'm taking a Comm 100 class and throughout the semester, different communication emphasis' are described. I was pretty uninterested in most of them until a few weeks ago when the Visual Communication Emphasis was talked about. As it was being described, it just MADE SENSE. I felt like it had all I was really looking for and while I was figuring out my grad plan, I saw that I could get my minor in Photography with it...perfect fit
I honestly am just really grateful that I'm able to recognize what has been placed in my path, they are so small and simple that it would be easy to overlook.
I'm still waiting on answers to prayers, and am still trying to figure out a LOT of what Heavenly Father wants me to be doing right now, but I honestly know as I continue to go about things the way that I've been doing them, then it will all work out.
