Well I guess it's official ... I'm not the only "Sister Crompton" missionary serving. I'm happy to know that Kallina is off to the MTC in Mexico City and starting this journey.
We had a really great week this week. Yesterday we had a family of 4 and our recent convert's friend at church. Member work is awesome. The family that we had at church was a referral from a member that is in the other branch on the island. Missionaries have come to them before, but I guess they were planting seeds because they seem pretty prepared. It's amazing what a members testimony and story can do in a lesson.
We watched the "Work of Salvation" again this week in our District meeting for the missionaries who didn't get a chance to see it. It's still pretty motivating; and if you're a member (or not a member) I encourage you to watch it on lds.org
This past weekend we helped out with the Young Women and had them decorate "The Family: A Proclamation to the World" (if you haven't read it, look it up and read it!) because this month for YW the lessons are all about family and marriage.
I think I mentioned last week how there was a humanitarian container from the church that had a bunch of supplies, and this week we were able to see the fruits of it. We were walking to an appointment and we randomly see a little boy who was reppin' a BYU shirt. (go cougars!)
Well, that's about it for this week.
