So it's my second full week here in St. Vincent and I'm already driving! Scarry right? For those of you who don't know, the wheel is on the right side of the car and we drive on the left side of the road. The driving set up isn't what was hard to get used to. It was the tiny roads, gutters and cliffs that you have to worry about...
This week has been pretty good, I'm still so fresh and am learning everyday. Last week for P-day we went to Rawacou beach. It was beyond gorgeous. We went with the Elders and the Bird's, the senior missionary couple here on St. Vincent. Sister Bird, Sister Fish and I picked seashells and it was so fun, we had to cut our trip to the beach short because one of our Elders broke his toe playing soccer. On the way back home Sister Fish introduced me to Chicken and Bake which is really good. She has also made Roti and curry which is a very popular and favourite dish down here.
Recipes are interesting down here...people don't write them! Because they don't use measuring cups down here, if someone wants to learn how to make something, we have to go to their house and make it with them. We did that with a member this week, Sister Tucker, and made home made brownies. They don't really like super sweet treats down here, most of their cake is fruit cake but they do like our brownies.
There are a lot of animals that just roam around here (see chickens below)
but so far I've seen chickens, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, donkies, cows horses all just roaming in the middle of the street like they own the place haha.
I learned that the people here in St. Vincent are very religious. Most of them are Christian. There are a lot of 7th Day Adventist and Jehovah's Witnesses and a lot of made up churches which is real interesting.
Yesterday Sis Fish and I were on our way back home and we saw a car in the middle of the supermarket entrance totally fried. We don't really know what happened to it but there was an ambulance and the car was still smoking. I'll try and get a picture of it below, it was kinda crazy!
So yeah, that's what my week has been like, I hope everyone is doing well back at home and school.
Much Love :)

Shout out to BYUI. There was a picture of the Rexburg temple in a members home!
